Albert King and ZZ Top, on the other hand... Now that's a little more like it. 1973's Tres Hombres, incidentally, was ZZ Top's first record to make Billboard's top ten. You'll note the absence of the beards in the photos on the cover. I've never been all that big on ZZ Top, but I really enjoyed this one. The first pleasant surprise of the project, you could say.
